Learning the board
Must admit I would even imagine me ever going on a skateboard. Until I came UVM, its all
I have been craving to do on my free time. The feel of the wheels angainst a smooth floor is deniable a great feeling and just makes you feel better all around. Even though it was only 30$ its my first board and I feel its just better than my rollerblades back home in NY.
I have gone around campus multiple times and I like the route going from Patric gym back to Central through honors and water tower. Its mostly downhills and smooth road. So far I have fallen a few times. My roommate took on a steep hill and as it turned out it started to wobble under him and then he attempted to jump off but it was to late...he landed on his stomach and got a 2 decent size cuts and gash. I ended up patching him up, we havent decided to take on the hill after that again. So far its been 3 days and I think i have gotten better enough to take on the
hill but Iam not sure. Maybe I should learn to ollie first?...or just go for it? Either way i'll be practicing untill im well enough to ride.
