Money Spenda!
On Tuesday, at least I think it was Tuesday, my friends and I went downtown to get a few things that we "needed". I wanted the new season of Smallville and a tapestry to put on my wall, so I knew I was going to be spending big bucks that day.
Anyway, we walked into Homeport, one of the best stores downtown to get dorm stuff, and I immediately walked up to the third floor where the tapestries were held. They had a lot of choices, but they all seemed to masculine for a girls room. So, I digged further through the piles of tapestries, and I found a purple tie-died on that I absolutely loved! I bought it and couldn't wait to put it on my wall.
We walked back up to our dorms, me with my tapestry and without my DVDs (they're really expensive at Borders!!!), and I began putting my tapestry on my wall. I had to move a couple of things from my wall, but other than that, the process was smooth.
Now, since my tapestry is tie-died and very colorful and my bedspread is also very colorful, I didn't realize at the time that the colors and design might not mesh well with each other. What do you think? Does my tapestry and bedspread go together or not so much?

I think it looks fine actually. In the picture, the colors in your bedding seem to just be lighter versions of the ones on the wall. They probably look a lot more different in person, but i haven't seen your actual dorm haha.
I wish I had a tapestry on my wall, my roommate also has a tie dye one but hers is orange. It matches pretty well because she has orange pillows and all that on her bed. I have yet to even hang pictures of my friends on the wall. My posters i bought are kinda just sitting here. I bought a few cool things downtown too. I knew that if i didn't do it that move in weekend before classes, i would never get around to doing it. I guess I was right..
WOa bright thats cool
hehe when your high you can jus stare at the wall or just space out by the colors.
That looks great. Even though the colors don't match up perfectly they still seem to blend in fine together. I bought a tapestry recently from this woman outside of the Davis center, I haven't put it up yet but I hope that it will make my space feel a little more comfortable.
