Meet the Lucky Ones
I don't exactly know if we're supposed to blog about Meet the Lucky Ones, but I'm going to do it anyway. I never have any idea what to post about, and this week isn't any different.
Anyway, the first time we had to watch these video clips, I admit that I didn't finish them all. I had other stuff to do (a.k.a study for a HUGE exam), and I didn't want to waste that time watching and clicking on things. Not for me.... I guess the big problem was that it took too much time to jump around and watch the video clips. It was just boring for me, and I couldn't sit down in my chair for an hour, staring at the computer. It was bad enough that I had been in front of the computer for 4 and a half hours already. The good thing, though, was that I did eventually finish them, and I liked it. It was an interesting story, and I liked how everything connected. Clicking on the yellow dots did get annoying after a while, but it was creative and a good way to catch viewers interest.
One thing that I didn't notice before, that I noticed a second time was the fortune cookie numbers and the lottery ticket numbers. I didn't realize they were the same! I was too busy trying to get everything done that I totally overlooked that detail. One question I had at the end of this was why the prescription pills were in the picture. Then, I realized that Bill had High Blood Pressure and that was why he had a heart attack.
I'd have to say that Estelle was my favorite character. She was awesome, and I absolutely loved her! I hope I'm as active and adventurous as her when I reach her age! Another thing I liked about her was that she didn't seem like she had any worries and wasn't involved with everyones big dilemmas. She was just living her life, one day at a time.
