In the book 26 lies/1 truth theres a chapter or part where it shows eyes. Just a picture of eyes they almost look like they are tearing or sad.
I feel those eyes mean they are depressed and sad. If you countinued reading the chapter it shows another picture of him laying in bed looking to the other side of the empty bed.
I feel he is sad he lost the girl. He also talks about in quotes under, "if i dont get up, nothing changes."
I feel this means he needs to make a change with his life.
