What?
Wow, what to say about this "story."
Immediately, as I was reading this blog, I was extremely confused. I had no idea what the author was trying to get at, and it ended with a lot of loose ends. Why would the author do that? Obviously, I assumed, the author wanted us to go on a little chase of our own, like that of Slice with the hare and that of Slice's parents trying to find her. So, I began my quest of trying to find out what happened to Slice's parents and the mystery behind the hare.
I began clicking on the links that were available to us on the blog, and none of it really helped. It showed us a bunch of maps that, I guess, had nothing to do with the story. After a lot of frustration, I decided to read some of the comments and found a useful link.
While on this link, I found some useful information that was set up like a chase. I was not about to figure out any clues, so I took the easy way out: by searching online to see if others had solved the clues.
I found this thread where fellow Slice followers were trying to put together the pieces to the puzzle, and I did not exactly find what I was looking for. I found out that the dates in the diary were important and so were the names, but I did not find out where Slice's parents went or anything about the mysterious hare. I gave up after this and surrendered my thoughts to look further. I guess I will have to live without finding out what really happened.

Good point. I didn't put much importance on the issue of the diary. Now that you mention it I wonder what the specific meaning was for each of the diary articles.
I sympathize. I did a lot of investigating and came up with almost no answers. Every link, looking up Jacobo to see if it could be important. This is like a demented Alice in Wonderland, except now it's everyone else wondering what's going on and not Alice.
Talk about a bad relationship, eh? I am about to break it off with this story for good.
