Mr. Folchi, the man, the myth, the legend

Ok so after reading the post on the Catamounts called 'Streeter' it inspired me to write a post about one of the best substitute teachers at my old high school, Mr. Folchi.
Picture Mr. Garrison from southpark but much taller and skinnier, with a thick bostonian accent and a heavy lisp. This my friends is Mr. William Folchi.

Mr. Folchi was quite the simpleton with his leather briefcase, flannel shirts ( even in the summer) and mug. He always had a copy of the Boston Globe just to ' represent his roots".
He was always the teacher that kids wanted as a sub because he was so laid back.
Just having the pleasure of hearing him talk (which sounded just like a heavily lisped Napoleon Dynamite) and seeing him try to relate the kids who called them self 'gangstas' was a joy in itself.
A few years before my time at my highschool a few kids put up a website all about Mr. Folchi, so I have dug up the link for you to click around and enjoy.

Its pretty cool that kids made a website about a substitute teacher, all the subs at my school were lame and sent in by the board of ed...
Mr Folchi looks like of the physics teacher in our school nobody liked, minus the jet black dyed hair. i was actually fortunate to have the other physics teacher, who brought his cute little 6 year old son to school sometimes and let me walk him to the bathroom. that was when he became my favorite teacher, even though i hated the class.
anyway back to substitutes, we had this one guy worth remembering, Mr Lipton, and we all called him Iced T because of his name, he kind of stopped subbing at our school like midway through sophmore year but everyone would ALWAYS cut class when they walked past the room and saw him at the board. he was a horrible man with a lisp that made him sound like a retarded five year old. and there was this one time, where he was a sub at my junior high in 7th grade and he accidently had diarrhea in his pants during class, ran out the room, and didn't come back. those of us who were fortunate to have him as a sub at our junior high had a good laugh when we saw him as a sub again when we got to our high school...
